What is a heat source tower heat pump system?
The heat source tower type water source heat pump unit is a product that uses air as the heat source, and realizes various functions such as refrigeration, ice storage, heating and providing sanitary hot water through the heat exchange of the heat source tower and the action of the heat pump unit.
In winter, it uses the carrier medium with the freezing point below zero to efficiently extract the low-grade heat energy in the air with high relative humidity in the low temperature environment, realize the transfer of low temperature heat energy to high temperature heat energy, and achieve the purpose of heating;
In summer, due to the special design of the heat source tower, it plays the role of a high-efficiency cooling tower, which discharges heat into the atmosphere to achieve cooling.
It is suitable for the climatic conditions where the dry bulb temperature of air-conditioned outdoor calculation is not lower than -8℃ and the calculated relative humidity is not lower than 60% in winter in the south of the Yangtze River (Suzhou -2.5℃, 77%).
This is the heat source tower heat pump system. The left side is the summer operation process, which is exactly the same as the mode of the chiller. The right side is converted into a heating condition after being converted by a valve. Please note that the inlet water temperature to the heat source tower is -3 degrees. At this temperature, the water will freeze, so some antifreeze agents are added (methanol, ethanol, ethylene glycol, water-soluble amide, calcium chloride, sodium chloride, etc.). If the external ambient temperature is too low and the concentration of antifreeze increases, the specific heat capacity of the circulating water in the heat source tower will become smaller, and the heat exchange efficiency will decrease. The lift of the pump increases and the power increases. So the system is not suitable for temperatures below -8.
The composition of the heat source tower:
When the heat source tower is opened, the outdoor air enters the tower from the 4 air inlet grille, exchanges heat with the fins and coils, and is discharged from the upper side 2 air outlet ducts. When the ambient temperature is greater than 1°C, the surface of the coil will not be frosted, and the 14 condensate control device is turned on to directly drain the condensate. When the ambient temperature is lower than 1 degree, the condensed water is easy to frost on the surface of the coil, then the 17 spray pump will be started and the 14 condensed water will be turned off. The concentrated solution is sent from the 16 solution pool to the 18 sprayer, and the high concentration solution is sprayed on the coil to absorb the condensed water. After dilution, it is returned to the solution pool through the 15 solution control valve. The spray liquid will be blown away by the wind and diluted by condensed water, resulting in drift loss and condensation loss. When the concentration in the solution pool is low to a certain level, the automatic dosing device will automatically add medicine to increase its concentration. When the outdoor air humidity is low, the concentration of the spray liquid will also be too high due to evaporation, and it also needs to be supplemented with water.
